This Neon price prediction covers Neon EVM, the project that runs Ethereum apps on Solana, and the biggest single-day gainer on CoinGecko’s top 1,000 list on September 23, 2026. NEON jumped about 200% in 24 hours, from a range it had been stuck in for weeks, and briefly touched about $0.066 before pulling back. The move came just six days after the token set a new all-time low, which says a lot about how quickly sentiment can flip in a thin market.
What Is Neon (NEON)?
Neon EVM is an Ethereum-compatible execution environment that runs on Solana. It lets developers deploy Ethereum apps written in Solidity and use Solana’s speed and liquidity without rewriting their code. The NEON token is an SPL token on Solana, contract NeonTjSjsuo3rexg9o6vHuMXw62f9V7zvmu8M8Zut44, and it is built by Neon Labs. Ivan Bjelajac, who previously worked at Tenderly and Polygon Edge, became CEO on October 21, 2025, taking over from co-founder Marina Guryeva. Neon Labs raised $40 million in a private token sale on November 9, 2021, led by Jump Capital, with Three Arrows Capital, Solana Capital, Rockaway Blockchain Fund, Ethereal Ventures and IDEO CoLab Ventures joining.
The numbers depend a lot on which tracker you use. On CoinGecko, NEON was around $0.051 at one point on September 23 with about 431 million tokens circulating and a market cap near $21.6 million. CoinMarketCap and Coinbase showed prices closer to $0.041 and a circulating supply of only about 239 million, which puts the market cap nearer $10 million. Total supply is 1 billion. The all-time high was $3.86 on December 27, 2023 by CoinMarketCap’s count (CoinGecko shows $3.91), so NEON still trades roughly 99% below its peak. The all-time low of about $0.011 came on September 17, 2026.
The Breakout That Sent It Vertical
For much of the summer, NEON barely moved. CoinGecko’s history shows it trading around $0.018 to $0.020 in mid-July with daily volume of roughly $0.4 million to $1.2 million, and then sliding to a fresh low on September 17. On September 22 and 23 it broke out hard. KuCoin’s news desk described it as a “liquidity-driven repricing” after a long, low-volume range between about 0.011 and 0.015 USDT, with an intraday range from about 0.0134 to 0.0661 USDT, and noted that “no major protocol release” came alongside the move.
We could not find a listing, partnership, product launch or named X post behind the rally either. CoinGabbar and CoinMarketCap’s AI summary both put it down to a broader rotation into altcoins. CoinMarketCap’s Altcoin Season Index reached 51, and US spot Bitcoin ETFs took in close to $1 billion on September 22, their largest daily inflow in 11 months. When money starts flowing back into small caps, the tokens that have been flat for the longest, with the thinnest order books, are often the ones that move the most. NEON fits that description well.
What the Community Actually Liked About It
Neon EVM has a real use case and a real history. Its pitch, letting Ethereum developers use Solana without learning a new language, has stayed relevant as both ecosystems grew, and the token has been around long enough to build solid exchange access. It listed on Bybit on July 17, 2023, KuCoin on January 15, 2024, Coinbase on April 30, 2024 and Revolut on August 13, 2025. For traders, a token with a Coinbase listing that was trading close to its all-time low looked like a cheap bet on a Solana rebound.
The on-exchange numbers backed that up during the move. Coinbase reported 710 buyers against 384 sellers over 24 hours and said NEON ranked first in DeFi price performance, and CoinGecko showed 100% bullish sentiment votes, though it does not say how many people voted. The leadership change in October 2025 also gave longer-term holders some hope that the project would pick up pace after a quiet stretch. We could not verify any notable accounts promoting the rally on X.
There is also a simple timing argument. A token that sets a new all-time low one week and triples the next is often being bought by traders betting that the worst of the selling is over. Whether that proves right depends on whether buyers keep showing up once the first wave of short-term traders takes profit, and NEON had already slipped back from its intraday high by the time we checked.
Neon Price Prediction 2026, 2027, 2030, 2050 (NEON)
This Neon price prediction table runs a statistical model against the coin’s live market data (current price, volatility, market cap, and supply schedule) rather than assuming the altcoin rotation keeps going. It is not trying to predict Neon EVM’s next upgrade, it is showing a realistic range if NEON’s current volatility and price pattern continue. The monthly table below rolls forward automatically to always show the next 36 months from today.

How this Neon forecast was calculated
Every input below comes from live market data and is re-checked daily. Nothing here is a guess dressed up as a number, and you can check the working yourself.
- Tier: Neon is classified as a micro cap asset (market cap $38.88M). Larger assets are given lower growth rates, because a coin already worth billions cannot repeat the returns of one worth millions.
- Volatility: 110% annualised, measured from 2160 real price observations over the last 90 days. This sets how wide the minimum-to-maximum range is.
- Growth rate: a base of +33.6% per year for this tier, adjusted for category and liquidity (hot), giving +9.4% per year.
- Supply dilution: total supply is 2.32x the circulating supply. Those tokens unlocking over time reduce the expected price by about 20.0% per year, and that drag is subtracted.
- Market cycle: the four-year Bitcoin halving rhythm is applied on top, so a drawdown year and a post-halving expansion year are not treated the same. The next halving is expected in 2028.
- Reality check: every maximum is clamped so the implied market capitalisation cannot exceed $15.00B for an asset of this type. Any figure marked capped hit that limit.
Minimum and maximum are the 10th and 90th percentile of a log-normal distribution. That means roughly an 80% chance the real price lands inside the range, if the model's assumptions hold. They frequently will not. Ranges are scaled by time0.42 rather than the square root of time, because crypto volatility mean-reverts over multi-year horizons.
Not financial advice. This is a statistical model applied to public market data. Crypto assets are highly volatile and you can lose everything you put in. No model predicts prices, including this one. Do your own research and never invest money you cannot afford to lose.
How To Buy Neon (NEON)
- Buy NEON on a centralized exchange that lists it, such as Coinbase, KuCoin, Bybit or Gate.
- On-chain, swap for NEON on Solana through Orca, where the main pool is NEON/SOL.
- Check the contract address (NeonTjSjsuo3rexg9o6vHuMXw62f9V7zvmu8M8Zut44) before trading. Other tokens on CoinGecko, such as NEXION on PulseChain, also use the NEON ticker.
- Position-size like it can go to zero. NEON tripled in a day on no specific news, one wallet holds about 31% of supply, and the main on-chain pool is very small. Nothing here is an entry signal.
Is NEON a Good Investment? The Honest Risk Warning
Liquidity is the first thing to understand. GeckoTerminal showed the Orca NEON/SOL pool holding only about $41,000, with liquidity not locked, against roughly $672,000 of 24 hour volume on that pool. GeckoTerminal also gives the token a security score of 65 out of 100, flags it as mintable and lists no audits. One wallet holds about 314 million NEON, roughly 31% of supply. With RSI near 94 by CoinGecko’s estimate and a quick retreat from the intraday high, CoinMarketCap’s AI summary called the move “extremely overextended.”
Supply is the second question. Trackers disagree on how much NEON is circulating, from about 239 million to 431 million, and a large share of the total sits in ecosystem (31.5%) and treasury (24.31%) allocations. Solana Capital Ventures’ 6% allocation had a four-year lockup from the mid-2023 launch, which points to around mid-2027, though that date is our estimate rather than a published schedule. The fair bull case is a real product and good exchange access at a very low price. The bear case is thin liquidity and an unclear supply picture. If you want to compare it with another project bringing EVM compatibility to a non-Ethereum chain, our Aurora price prediction is worth a look.
