This OriginTrail price prediction covers an AI data token that broke out hard at the start of October 2026. TRAC rose from about $0.365 on September 28 to roughly $0.51 on October 2, according to CoinMarketCap’s AI analysis and CoinGecko. CoinGecko showed a 28.9% gain in 24 hours and 38.7% for the week, with daily volume near $59 million, about a quarter of the entire market cap. AMBCrypto reported on October 1 that the number of TRAC holders had hit a record 27,060.
What Is OriginTrail (TRAC)?
OriginTrail builds the Decentralized Knowledge Graph, or DKG, a network where data is published as verifiable “Knowledge Assets” that apps and AI agents can query and trust. It began in supply chains, and its site points to Swiss railway SBB and the SCAN supply chain group as users. TRAC pays for publishing data and is staked by nodes that keep it. In 2026 the project relaunched the DKG as V10, which it calls a shared memory layer for AI agents. OriginTrail’s docs planned the V10 mainnet for mid-April across NeuroWeb, Base and Gnosis, and the project’s June recap said more than 15 million TRAC were committed to publishing within days of going live.
OriginTrail was founded by Žiga Drev, Tomaž Levak and Branimir Rakić, according to CoinMarketCap. Its ICO hit a $22.5 million hard cap on January 17, 2018, according to Startup.si. On CoinGecko, TRAC traded near $0.507 on October 2, 2026, with a market cap of about $227 million and a rank of #178. CoinGecko counts 447.3 million TRAC circulating out of a 500 million maximum, while CoinMarketCap treats the full 500 million as circulating. The all-time high is $3.50 on CoinGecko and $3.87 on November 2, 2021 on CoinMarketCap, so TRAC is still about 85% to 88% below its peak. The all-time low was about $0.0038 on March 13, 2020.
The AI Memory Breakout That Sent It Vertical
We could not find a single announcement on October 1 that explains the jump. CoinMarketCap’s AI analysis on September 30 pointed to a 457% spike in volume to $27.7 million and a rotation into altcoins, with its Altcoin Season Index up 35% in a week and Bitcoin dominance slipping. It also said there was no fresh OriginTrail news behind the earlier dip on September 28. The next day the move got much bigger, and AMBCrypto said Chaikin Money Flow showed buying at levels last seen in late 2024.
There was project news in the background. CoinMarketCap’s update feed says OriginTrail deployed a NeuroSymbolic inference marketplace to testnet in September, where nodes sell metered AI queries for TRAC, with mainnet planned for October 2026. A related proposal, OT-RFC-27, would add paid inference to the DKG so TRAC settles both data publishing and AI queries. The project also held DKGcon 2026 on September 11 in Zurich, and its GitHub shows DKG release 10.0.20 dated September 27. Traders likely priced in the October mainnet early, but that is our reading, not something the team announced.
What the Community Actually Liked About It
TRAC holders like that OriginTrail has real customers outside crypto. SBB, the SCAN supply chain group and a list of partners that the project says includes the British Standards Institution, Walmart and Oracle give it a track record most AI tokens cannot match. The V10 pitch, verifiable memory that many AI agents can share, also fits the agent theme that has driven a lot of 2026 trading. The June recap said agents built with tools such as Claude, Cursor and Codex can work on the same knowledge graph.
The token design got more attention this year as well. V10 added a conviction system: publishers lock TRAC for 12 months for discounts of 10% to 75%, and stakers lock for 1 to 12 months to earn reward multipliers of up to 6x. OriginTrail’s docs say locked TRAC cuts circulating supply. With a fixed 500 million maximum and no emissions schedule hanging over it, holders see paid AI inference as a direct new use for the token.
The Korean market matters too. Upbit listed TRAC against the won, Bitcoin and Tether on May 18, 2026, and crypto.news reported a 39.4% gain with $38.6 million in volume that day. That listing brought in a retail crowd that tends to pile into AI tokens quickly, and the October volume spike suggests some of that crowd is back.
OriginTrail Price Prediction 2026, 2027, 2030, 2040, 2050 (TRAC)
This OriginTrail price prediction table runs a statistical model against TRAC’s live market data (current price, volatility, market cap and supply schedule) rather than assuming the current story plays out. It does not assume the inference marketplace launches on time or that AI agents create steady fee demand, it shows a realistic range if TRAC’s current volatility and price pattern continue. The monthly table below rolls forward automatically to always show the next 36 months from today.

How this OriginTrail forecast was calculated
Every input below comes from live market data and is re-checked daily. Nothing here is a guess dressed up as a number, and you can check the working yourself.
- Tier: OriginTrail is classified as a micro cap asset (market cap $199.50M). Larger assets are given lower growth rates, because a coin already worth billions cannot repeat the returns of one worth millions.
- Volatility: 108% annualised, measured from 2160 real price observations over the last 90 days. This sets how wide the minimum-to-maximum range is.
- Growth rate: a base of +33.6% per year for this tier, adjusted for category and liquidity (normal), giving +30.0% per year.
- Supply dilution: total supply is 1.12x the circulating supply. Those tokens unlocking over time reduce the expected price by about 2.8% per year, and that drag is subtracted.
- Market cycle: the four-year Bitcoin halving rhythm is applied on top, so a drawdown year and a post-halving expansion year are not treated the same. The next halving is expected in 2028.
- Reality check: every maximum is clamped so the implied market capitalisation cannot exceed $15.00B for an asset of this type. Any figure marked capped hit that limit.
Minimum and maximum are the 10th and 90th percentile of a log-normal distribution. That means roughly an 80% chance the real price lands inside the range, if the model's assumptions hold. They frequently will not. Ranges are scaled by time0.42 rather than the square root of time, because crypto volatility mean-reverts over multi-year horizons.
Not financial advice. This is a statistical model applied to public market data. Crypto assets are highly volatile and you can lose everything you put in. No model predicts prices, including this one. Do your own research and never invest money you cannot afford to lose.
How To Buy OriginTrail (TRAC)
- Buy TRAC on exchanges such as Upbit, Coinbase, Kraken, KuCoin or Binance.US, or on Uniswap.
- The Ethereum contract is 0xaa7a9ca87d3694b5755f213b5d04094b8d0f0a6f and the Base contract is 0xa81a52B4dda010896cDd386C7fBdc5CDc835ba23. Upbit only supports deposits on Ethereum.
- Watch October: the NeuroSymbolic marketplace mainnet is planned for this month. A delay could take the air out of the move.
- Position-size like it can go to zero. TRAC is still more than 85% below its 2021 high, the rally ran on a volume spike rather than a confirmed announcement and AMBCrypto flagged overbought signals. Nothing here is an entry signal.
Is TRAC a Good Investment? The Honest Risk Warning
The first risk is that the jump is ahead of the fundamentals. The inference marketplace was still on testnet and OT-RFC-27 was still a proposal at the time of writing, so the fee demand traders are pricing in does not exist yet. AMBCrypto noted that TRAC had pushed into the upper Bollinger Band, a level that has often come before pullbacks, and the token has a long history of sharp rallies that fade, including the Upbit spike in May.
Adoption is the second question. Enterprise pilots have been part of the OriginTrail story since 2018, yet TRAC still trades at a small fraction of its 2021 price. Much of the data published on the DKG comes from a handful of large partners, and paid AI queries are a new and unproven market. If you want to compare it with another data infrastructure token that rallied on a usage story, our The Graph price prediction covers a similar setup.
OriginTrail (TRAC) FAQ
Why is TRAC up in early October 2026?
TRAC rose about 29% in a day and about 39% in a week on CoinGecko, with volume near $59 million. No single announcement was confirmed; sources point to an altcoin rotation and expectations for OriginTrail’s AI inference marketplace mainnet in October.
What is OriginTrail DKG V10?
V10 is the latest version of OriginTrail’s Decentralized Knowledge Graph, built as a shared and verifiable memory layer for AI agents. It added a conviction system that rewards publishers and stakers who lock TRAC.
Does TRAC have a max supply?
Yes. TRAC has a fixed maximum of 500 million tokens. CoinGecko counts about 447 million circulating, while CoinMarketCap treats the full 500 million as circulating.
Can TRAC reach its all-time high again?
TRAC’s high was about $3.50 to $3.87 in late 2021, roughly seven times the current price. That would need large, sustained demand for paid publishing and AI queries, so treat it as a long shot.
