This ORE price prediction covers Solana’s proof-of-work mining token, which bounced hard in late September 2026 after a run of protocol upgrades. Solana Compass put ORE at around $78 during September, and by October 2 CoinGecko showed it near $105, up about 52% over seven days and 21% in 24 hours, with an intraday range of $85 to $142. CoinMarketCap had it at $113 and up 30% on the day. The swing in a single day tells you how thin this market is.
What Is ORE (ORE)?
ORE is a mineable token on Solana built by Regolith Labs and its pseudonymous founder, Hardhat Chad. It started as a winner of Solana’s Renaissance hackathon and launched on April 2, 2024. Mining demand was so heavy that it contributed to network congestion, and mining was paused on April 16, 2024 after the price fell about 97% from its early peak, according to Solana Compass. Version 2 arrived in August 2024. In September 2024 Regolith raised a $3 million seed round led by Foundation Capital, with Colosseum, Solana Ventures and others, Blockworks reported. Version 3, launched on October 22, 2025, replaced hashing with a 5×5 grid: every minute miners deploy SOL on squares, a random winner takes the losers’ SOL, and about 1 ORE is minted per round. Ten percent of SOL from losing squares buys ORE, of which 90% is burned (“buried”) and 10% goes to stakers.
On CoinGecko, ORE traded near $104.74 on October 2, 2026, with a market cap of about $52 million and a rank around #461. Circulating supply is about 499,000 ORE. The maximum supply is disputed: CoinGecko, CoinMarketCap and a September 12 Phemex review of the program code say 3 million, while Solana Compass and Genfinity still describe a 5 million cap. CoinGecko lists an all-time high of $1,451.62, which leaves ORE about 93% below its peak, while CoinMarketCap shows $1,002.43 on August 3, 2024. CoinMarketCap dates the all-time low of $6.09 to September 25, 2025, just before the v3 relaunch, after which Bitget News said ORE rose from $10 to more than $600 within a month.
The Reserve and V4 Upgrades That Sent It Vertical
September was busy for ORE. On September 9, 2026, Hardhat Chad announced the ORE Reserve on X. Instead of spending buyback revenue immediately, which he called “top blasting”, the Reserve places it in limit-order-style liquidity on Meteora across pairs with SOL, USDC, gold-backed tokens and Zcash, starting with 1% of protocol revenue, Genfinity reported on September 28. Hardhat Chad said the design could guarantee that ORE’s supply hits zero before its price does. ORE also announced a partnership with MetaDAO to run the Reserve through futarchy decision markets. Phemex noted that the mining program was redeployed on September 10, 34 minutes after the code was made public.
Version 4 of the mining game added partial claims, removed the pari-mutuel payout that could make miners lose money and changed the “motherlode” jackpot, according to Genfinity, which called it a refinement rather than an overhaul. The same week, StonkFun let meme coins pair with ORE instead of only SOL, so fees from those trades flow back to ORE holders. STONK itself jumped more than 250% in a day. We could not find one announcement that lines up exactly with ORE’s late-September rally, so the fairest reading is that traders priced in this stack of updates together.
What the Community Actually Liked About It
ORE’s fans like that it is fully mined. Solana Compass says there was no pre-mine and no insider allocation, which is rare for a token with venture backing. They also like the buyback. At the height of v3, Bitget News reported more than $1 million a day in protocol revenue, one of the highest on Solana, and 10,381 ORE bought back in one week. CoinMarketCap’s AI summary noted another milestone on June 30, 2026, when more than 3 million SOL had been deployed into mining.
The September upgrades gave holders something new to talk about. A reserve that defends the price with real liquidity, a futarchy partnership with MetaDAO and a role as a base pair for StonkFun meme coins all point to ORE becoming more than a mining game. Phemex also eased one common fear in a September 12 review: the mint authority is live because the game needs it to pay rewards, but it is owned by the program rather than a person.
ORE Price Prediction 2026, 2027, 2030, 2040, 2050 (ORE)
This ORE price prediction table runs a statistical model against ORE’s live market data (current price, volatility, market cap and supply schedule) rather than assuming the current story plays out. It does not assume the ORE Reserve or the StonkFun pairing brings lasting demand, it shows a realistic range if ORE’s current volatility and price pattern continue. The monthly table below rolls forward automatically to always show the next 36 months from today.

How this ORE forecast was calculated
Every input below comes from live market data and is re-checked daily. Nothing here is a guess dressed up as a number, and you can check the working yourself.
- Tier: ORE is classified as a micro cap asset (market cap $56.08M). Larger assets are given lower growth rates, because a coin already worth billions cannot repeat the returns of one worth millions.
- Volatility: 112% annualised, measured from 2160 real price observations over the last 90 days. This sets how wide the minimum-to-maximum range is.
- Growth rate: a base of +33.6% per year for this tier, adjusted for category and liquidity (normal), giving +9.4% per year.
- Supply dilution: total supply is 6.00x the circulating supply. Those tokens unlocking over time reduce the expected price by about 20.0% per year, and that drag is subtracted.
- Market cycle: the four-year Bitcoin halving rhythm is applied on top, so a drawdown year and a post-halving expansion year are not treated the same. The next halving is expected in 2028.
- Reality check: every maximum is clamped so the implied market capitalisation cannot exceed $15.00B for an asset of this type. Any figure marked capped hit that limit.
Minimum and maximum are the 10th and 90th percentile of a log-normal distribution. That means roughly an 80% chance the real price lands inside the range, if the model's assumptions hold. They frequently will not. Ranges are scaled by time0.42 rather than the square root of time, because crypto volatility mean-reverts over multi-year horizons.
Not financial advice. This is a statistical model applied to public market data. Crypto assets are highly volatile and you can lose everything you put in. No model predicts prices, including this one. Do your own research and never invest money you cannot afford to lose.
How To Buy ORE (ORE)
- Most ORE trades on Solana DEXs such as Meteora (ORE/SOL and ORE/USDC) and Orca. LBank lists an ORE/USDT pair.
- The Solana mint address is oreoU2P8bN6jkk3jbaiVxYnG1dCXcYxwhwyK9jSybcp. ORE uses 11 decimals, which some wallets and tools expecting 6 or 9 may display incorrectly.
- You can also mine ORE at ore.supply by deploying SOL on the grid, but most rounds lose SOL to other players, so treat it as a game with an edge for the protocol, not free tokens.
- Position-size like it can go to zero. ORE is still more than 90% below its peak, liquidity is thin and one wallet can upgrade the mining program. Nothing here is an entry signal.
Is ORE a Good Investment? The Honest Risk Warning
Control and liquidity are the biggest concerns. Phemex found that a single wallet holds upgrade authority over the mining program, and that round length and other settings can be changed. It also measured only about $903,000 of liquidity across the three deepest pools on September 12, so a single large seller can move the price sharply, as the $85 to $142 range on October 2 showed. ORE has crashed twice already, by about 97% in April 2024 and again from its 2024 peak to $6 in 2025.
The token’s value depends on miners continuing to deploy SOL. If the game loses its appeal, revenue and buybacks fall, and new ORE keeps being minted every minute. The confusion over whether the cap is 3 million or 5 million is another reason to check the source code yourself. If you want to compare it with the launchpad that now pairs meme coins with ORE, our STONK price prediction is a good next read.
ORE (ORE) FAQ
Why did ORE go up in late September 2026?
ORE rallied after a series of upgrades: the ORE Reserve announced on September 9, the v4 mining update, a MetaDAO futarchy partnership and StonkFun letting meme coins pair with ORE. No single announcement explains the exact timing.
What is the maximum supply of ORE?
Sources disagree. CoinGecko, CoinMarketCap and Phemex’s review of the code say 3 million ORE, while Solana Compass and Genfinity cite 5 million. About 499,000 ORE were in circulation on October 2, 2026.
How does ORE mining work now?
Since v3 in October 2025, miners deploy SOL on a 5×5 grid each minute and a random square wins. About 1 ORE is minted per round, and 10% of losing SOL buys back ORE, 90% of which is burned.
Who created ORE?
ORE was created by the pseudonymous developer Hardhat Chad and Regolith Labs. The project raised a $3 million seed round in September 2024 led by Foundation Capital.
